Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sharpe Trading, LLC (“Sharpe Trading,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit sharpe-trading.com and join our early-access waitlist (the “Site”).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and any optional survey answers you choose to provide — how you’d use Sharpe Trading, the type of trader you are, the broker you use, and the tier you’re interested in.
Referral information. If you share your referral link or join through someone else’s, we store your referral code and a count of successful referrals to determine your position in line.
Automatically collected. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed may be logged by our hosting and infrastructure providers for security and reliability.
2. How we use it
- Operate the waitlist and calculate your position, including referral ranking;
- Send you product updates and let you know when early access opens (see Marketing emails);
- Understand demand and shape what we build first, using aggregated survey responses;
- Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the Site;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we rely on: your consent for marketing emails (which you may withdraw at any time); and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the waitlist. We honour applicable data-subject rights described below.
6. Retention
We keep waitlist information until our public launch or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first, plus any period required to meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see below).
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined.
To exercise any right, email privacy@sharpe-trading.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Marketing emails
By joining the waitlist you agree to receive occasional emails about Sharpe Trading, including when early access opens. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and our messages identify us and include a physical mailing address, consistent with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act. You can opt out at any time.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International users
We operate in the United States, and your information will be processed there. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to and stored in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
